Immunity training

What is immunity training?

Most immune supplements are built to boost after you're already run down. Immunity training is the daily alternative: build the foundation before you need it.

Built on the cutting-edge science of trained immunity. Every nutrient dosed exactly as the label says, and every batch tested before release.

Boosting vs training

Boosting reacts; training prepares.

A boost is a reaction: something you reach for once you're already run down. Immunity training is a routine you keep, a daily multivitamin built on the science of trained immunity, so the foundation is in place before you need it.

The science, credited

Trained immunity is the researchers’ discovery.

Trained immunity is a kind of memory scientists found in the innate immune system, your first line of defense. Dr. Mihai Netea’s group at Radboud University named it in 2011, and research since then has looked at how innate immune cells respond differently after an earlier encounter.

For more than a century the innate side of the immune system was thought to have no memory at all. Trained immunity overturned that, and it is now studied in labs around the world. Netea won the 2016 Spinoza Prize, the highest science award in the Netherlands, for the work.

byMae is built on the science of trained immunity. The research is the researchers’ own: multi+ hasn’t had a clinical trial of its own, and no study has measured trained immunity in people taking it.

The ingredient

Clinically-studied yeast beta-glucan.

Beta-glucan is a natural fiber from baker’s yeast. Your innate immune cells recognize its shape, which is why scientists have been studying it for decades.

The lab studies above looked at yeast beta-glucan. It is in every multi+ format, beside the daily essentials; the amount for each format is on its product page and its Supplement Facts panel.

multi+, the product system.

Drink or capsules for adults, with 22 essential nutrients plus clinically-studied yeast beta-glucan. Mixed-berry chewables for littles, with 17 essential vitamins and minerals plus beta-glucan. The Flex Bundle has both adult formats. Dosage-accurate: what's on the label is what's in every serving. Every batch is tested before release.

How to take it

One serving a weekday.

20 servings to a pack, a month’s supply.

Adults: one serving of multi+ Drink or Capsules, Monday through Friday.

Littles: Ages 2 to 3: 1 chewable. Ages 4 and up: 2 chewables. Monday through Friday, with food.

A pack of 40 chewables lasts about a month at two a weekday (ages 4 and up) and about two months at one (ages 2 to 3).
