Immunity Training, built into your daily multivitamin.

multi+ for adults Drink
One stick in 8 oz of water, Monday through Friday.
Shake it in a bottle, stir or swirl it into water, or add it to a smoothie. If a little white powder settles at the bottom, that’s the calcium. Give it another shake or stir.
One pouch has 20 sticks, which is 4 weeks of weekday use.
Vanilla, pineapple and coconut with hydrating coconut crystals. Not your flavor? Capsules have the same daily essentials, plus beta-glucan, unflavored.
Each stick has 2 g of sugar and 20 calories.

multi+ for adults Capsules
Three capsules, Monday through Friday. We recommend taking them with breakfast.
One pouch has 60 capsules, 20 servings of three, which is 4 weeks of weekday use.
22 vitamins and minerals and 250 mg of a yeast beta-glucan complex take up room. Three capsules hold the whole serving.

multi+ for adults Both formats
The same 22 essential nutrients, plus beta-glucan, in two formats. The drink is one stick pack in 8 oz of water, in vanilla, pineapple and coconut. The capsules are three a serving and unflavored. Take one serving a day, not both.
No. Take one serving of multi+ per day, either the Drink or the Capsules, not both. The Flex Bundle includes both adult formats, so you can choose Drink or Capsules on any weekday.
Whenever suits you. We recommend having it with breakfast, since some people don’t like vitamins on an empty stomach, and breakfast is an easy time to remember on weekdays.
Beta-glucan supports your body’s front-line immune function.*
We’d hold off for now. multi+ for adults isn’t a prenatal, so we don’t recommend it while you’re pregnant or nursing. If you’re pregnant, trying to conceive or breastfeeding, your OB-GYN can help you choose a prenatal or postnatal supplement.
byMae is designed to cover your daily multivitamin basics, so there’s usually no need to take another multivitamin alongside it. Take byMae as directed, and check with your healthcare provider if you use medication or aren’t sure how it fits with the rest of your routine.
The label lists possible side effects: temporary flushing, itching, rash or gastric disturbances. If you notice any, stop taking it and check with your healthcare provider.

The Flex Bundle Drink and capsules
One pouch of the drink and one of the capsules, delivered together. Take whichever suits the day, one serving a day.

multi+ for littles Chewables, ages 2+
multi+ for littles is for kids 2 and up. Ages 2 to 3 take one tablet and ages 4 and up take two, Monday to Friday, with food. Each tablet has 50 mg of beta-glucan, so that’s 50 mg or 100 mg on a weekday. A 40-tablet pouch lasts about 8 weeks at one a day and about 4 weeks at two, so delivery every 2 months fits ages 2 to 3 and monthly delivery fits 4 and up.
No. multi+ for littles is for kids 2 and up.
multi+ for littles is a mixed-berry chewable tablet. It has no gelatin or sugar alcohols.
Less than 1 g of sugar per chewable.
Some kids need a few tries with a new taste or texture. Keep offering it for a week or so. If it still isn’t a fit, email us within 30 days and we’ll refund it.
multi+ for littles has no iron, and no calcium or magnesium either. If your pediatrician has recommended iron for your child, ask them about the amount and form.
Skip any other multivitamin while you take byMae, and never take more than one serving a day. If your child takes other supplements, check the combined amounts with your pediatrician.
Check with your child’s doctor before starting, especially if they’re being treated for a condition or take medication. Stop and call the doctor if you notice side effects.
Yes. multi+ for littles is formulated for kids 2 and up, with 50 mg of beta-glucan in each chewable.
multi+ for littles is made and dosed for kids, so for you we’d go with multi+ for adults. It has 22 essentials, including the iron, calcium and magnesium that multi+ for littles leaves out. Drink or Capsules, whichever fits your day.
Ingredients and beta-glucan
Beta-glucan (bay-tuh GLOO-kan) is a natural fiber from baker’s yeast. Your innate immune cells recognize its shape, which is why beta-glucan has been studied so extensively in immune research.
Each drink stick has 250 mg of baker’s yeast beta-glucan, and each littles chewable has 50 mg. The capsules shipping now list a yeast beta-glucan complex, with the amount on their Supplement Facts.
No. byMae’s beta-glucan comes from baker’s yeast. Beta-glucans from oats, barley and mushrooms are built differently, and each has its own research.
It may come from the same source. Beta-glucan can come from yeast, oats, barley, mushrooms or seaweed, and the one in multi+ is yeast beta-glucan, a natural fiber from baker’s yeast. To check your skincare, look at its ingredient list. If it lists “Yeast Beta-Glucan”, that’s from yeast too, though each ingredient is made its own way. A plain “Beta-Glucan” doesn’t name the source, so the brand is the one to ask.
Most research on yeast beta-glucan has been in adults, and some trials have been in children. One trial, published in 2016, gave 174 children aged 1 to 4 in Beijing either baker’s yeast beta-glucan or a placebo for 12 weeks. A 2021 review of 34 trials of beta-glucans from yeast and mushrooms included six in children, and none of the 34 reported side effects caused by the beta-glucan. multi+ for littles hasn’t had a study of its own. If you’re considering it for your child, show your pediatrician the label.
Yes. All three formats use methylfolate for folate and methylcobalamin for B12. Methylfolate is the main form of folate in your blood, and folic acid, the common alternative, has to be converted first.
Yes. byMae is labeled vegan, gluten-free and non-GMO. Every batch is tested before release, and byMae also undergoes additional testing by an independent third-party lab.
Made in the USA from U.S. and imported ingredients at a triple-certified facility. Every batch is tested before release, and we’re on the floor when our batches run.
No. None of the three multi+ formats has caffeine.
How to take it
Weekdays are when you’re out in the world the most. It’s also the schedule we tend to run on, and a routine that follows that rhythm is easier to keep. Five days a week is the full routine.
No. Take one serving of multi+ per day. For kids, never more than the daily amount for their age.
If you miss a day, pick it up on the next weekday. There’s nothing to make up.
The first 90 days are about the routine. Month one is finding the time of day that fits you, and 90 days is about how long it takes a new routine to stop being a decision and start being the thing you just do. After that, you keep going, because multi+ is a long-term foundation.
Safety
A 2021 review of 34 randomized trials of beta-glucans from yeast and mushrooms, taken at up to 1,000 mg a day for up to six and a half months, recorded no side effects caused by the beta-glucan. If you’re pregnant or nursing, we’d hold off on multi+ for adults. Check with your doctor first if you’re being treated for a condition or take medication.
Yes. The beta-glucan in byMae is derived from baker’s yeast. If you have a yeast allergy or avoid yeast for medical reasons, check with your healthcare provider before taking byMae.
No. byMae does not contain live yeast. Its beta-glucan is derived from the cell walls of baker’s yeast, and the extraction and drying process removes the living yeast cells. Each batch is tested for yeast before release. Because beta-glucan is still yeast-derived, check with your healthcare provider if you have a yeast allergy or avoid yeast for medical reasons.
byMae is made in a facility that also processes products containing soy, egg, peanuts, tree nuts, milk, fish, shellfish, wheat and sesame. Check the product label for the most current allergen information.
No. The FDA doesn’t approve dietary supplements before they’re sold. Made in the USA from U.S. and imported ingredients at a triple-certified facility.

About byMae
byMae multi+ is a multivitamin with beta-glucan that you take on weekdays. Adults take it as a drink mix or capsules, and kids 2 and up take a chewable.
Immunity Training is our practice for proactive health and immunity, built around a simple idea: have a foundation in place before you need it. multi+ combines daily essentials with clinically-studied beta-glucan and follows a weekdays-on, weekends-off routine. It’s inspired by the award-winning science of trained immunity, which changed what scientists know about the innate immune system’s ability to remember.
Trained immunity is a kind of memory scientists found in the innate immune system, your first line of defense. Dr. Mihai Netea’s group at Radboud University named it in 2011, and research since then has looked at how innate immune cells respond differently after an earlier encounter.
Trained immunity is the science: a kind of memory scientists found in the innate immune system. Immunity Training is our practice, built around a simple idea: have a foundation in place before you need it. multi+ combines daily essentials with clinically-studied beta-glucan and follows a weekdays-on, weekends-off routine, and we named that routine after the science of trained immunity.
Dr. Netea doesn’t work with byMae. We named our routine after his field of research.
byMae no longer makes prenatal+. If you’re pregnant, trying to conceive or breastfeeding, your OB-GYN can help you choose a prenatal or postnatal supplement.
