What’s in byMae multi+
The vitamins and minerals you’d expect, plus beta-glucan.
Beta-glucan
You might know the name from your skincare.
Beta-glucan (bay-tuh GLOO-kan) is a natural fiber from baker’s yeast. Your innate immune cells recognize its shape, which is why beta-glucan has been studied so extensively in immune research.

B vitamins and choline
B vitamins help the body turn food into energy.*
Vitamin B6
Vitamin B6 is the name for six related compounds, including pyridoxine and pyridoxal.
The adult labels pair pyridoxine HCl with pyridoxal 5 phosphate (PLP), one of B6’s two active forms, and the littles chewable uses pyridoxine HCl.
In one stick: 9 mg (529% DV)
One stick has about as much vitamin B6 as a little over 20 bananas.

Vitamin B6 is found in things like bananas, potatoes and winter squash.
Vitamins A, C, D3, E and K2, plus lutein
Vitamin D supports healthy bones.*
Minerals
Vitamins C and D, zinc and selenium support normal immune function.*
Food comparisons use USDA FoodData Central values, and food sources come from the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements fact sheets. Amounts in food vary by brand, variety and preparation.
The forms we use
Same vitamin, different form. Check the parentheses.
L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate is methylfolate, the main form of folate in your blood. Folic acid, the common alternative, has to be converted first.
Supplements use four forms of B12. multi+ uses methylcobalamin, one of the two forms your body uses directly.
All three products use both.
See every ingredient and amount ↓- Iron, zinc and magnesium as bisglycinates. Each mineral is bound to glycine, a form known for being gentle on the stomach.
- Vitamin D3 with K2 as menaquinone-7. D3 supports calcium absorption for healthy bones, and K2 helps direct that calcium where it belongs.*
- Vitamin A from beta-carotene. Your body converts beta-carotene to vitamin A as it needs it.
- Selenium as L-selenomethionine. A form of selenium found naturally in foods like grains and nuts.

Questions
byMae multi+ is a multivitamin with beta-glucan that you take on weekdays. Adults take it as a drink mix or capsules, and kids 2 and up take a chewable.
Yes. All three formats use methylfolate for folate and methylcobalamin for B12. Methylfolate is the main form of folate in your blood, and folic acid, the common alternative, has to be converted first.
Each drink stick has 250 mg of baker’s yeast beta-glucan, and each littles chewable has 50 mg. The capsules shipping now list a yeast beta-glucan complex, with the amount on their Supplement Facts.
No. byMae’s beta-glucan comes from baker’s yeast. Beta-glucans from oats, barley and mushrooms are built differently, and each has its own research.
No. byMae does not contain live yeast. Its beta-glucan is derived from the cell walls of baker’s yeast, and the extraction and drying process removes the living yeast cells. Each batch is tested for yeast before release. Because beta-glucan is still yeast-derived, check with your healthcare provider if you have a yeast allergy or avoid yeast for medical reasons.
byMae is labeled vegan, gluten-free and non-GMO.
Yes. multi+ for littles is formulated for kids 2 and up, with 50 mg of beta-glucan in each chewable.
